Amanda Nelson
Amanda has had over 30 years' experience singing four-part a cappella barbershop-style harmony as a member of three choruses and several quartets. She has held leadership positions in all three choruses, including Assistant Director, Tenor Section Leader and Visual/Choreography Leader.
Amanda studied classical singing for two years and has received extensive training in Vocal Production and Visual Performance through many National and International Competitions, and Master Classes with Sweet Adelines International. She is a Certified Sweet Adelines Director.
Amanda has also completed conducting and vocal pedagogy courses with the International Barbershop Harmony Society and sings with Sydney Harmony, a Barbershop Harmony Australia mixed chorus.
She brings both experience and passion for singing harmony to her role of Musical Director of Vocal Edge.
